Merritt FuelCo Limited Partnership and Nicola Valley FuelCo Inc.

Introduction and Overview

On June 7, 2022, Merritt FuelCo LP (“MFL”) and Nicola Valley FuelCo Inc. (“NVFI”, collectively with MFL, the “Company”) were adjudged bankrupt by Order of the Supreme Court of British Columbia (the “Court”) and Deloitte Restructuring Inc. was appointed as licensed insolvency trustee of the estates of the bankrupts (the “Trustee”). On the same day, the Court granted an additional Order that the Trustee could administer the MFL and NVFI estates on a consolidated basis for all purposes in carrying out its administrative duties and other responsibilities under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. B-3, as amended. Documents with regards to these proceedings will be posted to this website.
