​​​​On November 27, 2025, GMS filed an assignment in bankruptcy pursuant to section 49 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. Deloitte Restructuring Inc. (“Deloitte") was appointed as the Licensed Insolvency Trustee by the Official Receiver until such a time as the appointment can be affirmed by GMS's creditors.

On January 20, 2026 (the “Appointment Date"), Deloitte Restructuring Inc. (“Deloitte") was appointed as receiver and manager (the “Receiver") of GMS pursuant to security held by the Royal Bank of Canada.
