October 25, 2013 – Inverness Estates Development Ltd. filed an assignment on the 25th day of October 2013, and Samson Bélair/Deloitte & Touche Inc. was appointed as trustee of the estate of the bankrupt by the official receiver, subject to affirmation by the creditors of the trustee’s appointment or substitution of another trustee by the creditors.

The first meeting of creditors of the bankrupt was held on the 14th day of November 2013, at 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time), at the offices of Samson Bélair/Deloitte & Touche Inc. located at 1 Place Ville Marie, Suite 3000, Montreal, Quebec, H3B 4T9. Creditors from Alberta were able to observe the first meeting of creditors on the 14th day of November, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. (Mountain Standard Time), via video conference in Edmonton at the offices of Deloitte Restructuring Inc. located at 2000 Manulife Place, 10180 – 101st Street, Edmonton, Alberta, T5J 4E4. Please note that creditors who only observed the meeting via video conference were not entitled to vote at the meeting.

Posted to this website under the creditor package is a proof of claim form, proxy form, and list of creditors showing the amounts of their claims. Creditors must prove their claims against the estate of the bankrupt in order to share in any distribution of the proceeds realized from the estate.
