On April 24, 2026, Deloitte Restructuring Inc. was appointed as receiver and manager (the “Receiver") of Kooshie Cushions of Canada Limited pursuant to the security held by The Business Development Bank of Canada (“BDC").
On July 3, 2026, the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia in Bankruptcy and Insolvency (the “Court”) granted an order (the “Receivership Order”) appointing Deloitte Restructuring Inc. (“Deloitte”) as the receiver and manager (the “Receiver”), without security, of 339 Willow Street, Truro, Nova Scotia, more particularly described as parcel identification number 20239059, acquired for, or used in relation to a business carried on by Kooshie Cushions of Canada Limited (“KCCL”, the “Debtor”, or the “Company”), including all proceeds thereof (the “Property”).
