Sécur Finance Investissements 700 Inc. and Services Financiers Sécur Finance Inc.

Introduction and Overview

On June 8, 2015, the Petitioners, Sécur Finance Investissements 700 Inc. and Services Financiers Sécur Finance Inc. (collectively the "Companies"), hereby sought and obtained an Initial Order (the "Initial Order") under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act ("CCAA") from the Quebec Superior Court (Commercial Division), district of Montréal (the "Court"). The Companies obtained an Initial Order in order to continue the restructuring proceedings initiated under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act ("BIA") started on May 20 and 21, 2015. The Court has appointed Deloitte Restructuring Inc. (the "Monitor") to monitor the business and financial affairs of the Petitioners as an officer of the Court.
