​On September 28, 2017, Deloitte Restructuring Inc. (“Deloitte”) was appointed to act as Receiver to some of the assets, pursuant to a receivership order rendered under section 243 BIA by the Superior Court of Québec, Commercial Division (the “Receivership Order”).

As part of the receivership of Tecolam Inc. and following a bid solicitation process initiated by the Receiver that ended on November 3, 2017, an Approval and Vesting Order was rendered on November 14, 2017 authorizing the Receiver to conclude the sale of the land and building located at 11 Finlay Street, in Val-d'Or.

On December 4, 2017, Tecolam Inc. filed an assignment in bankruptcy and Deloitte Restructuring Inc. was appointed trustee in the bankruptcy.  The first meeting of creditors of the bankrupt was held on the 22nd day of December 2017, at 10 a.m., at the trustee's offices located at the Tour Deloitte, 1190 Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montreal, Suite 500, Montreal, Quebec.  The first meeting of creditors of the bankrupt was also available by video conference at the trustee's offices located at 450, 3e Avenue, Val d'Or, Québec, J9P 1S2
