​​​​​On January 24, 2025, The Vancor Group Inc. (the “Applicant") made an application under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-36, as amended (“CCAA") declaring that 2744364 Ontario Limited (o/a True North Cannabis Co.) (“TNCC"), 2668905 Ontario Limited (o/a Bamboo Blaze) (“Bamboo Blaze"), and 2767888 Ontario Inc. (“888") (together, “Debtors") are debtor companies to which the CCAA applies.

On the same day, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (the “Court") granted an Initial Order, which, among other things: (i) granted a stay of proceedings up to and including February 3, 2025 (the “Initial Stay Period"); and (ii) appointed Deloitte Restructuring Inc. (“Deloitte") as Court-appointed monitor of the business and financial affairs of the Debtors (in such capacity, the “Monitor"). ​
