On December 21, 2017 the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) issued an Order ("Appointment Order") pursuant to section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. B-3, as amended (the "BIA") and section 101 of the Courts of Justice Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. C.43, as amended, appointing Deloitte Restructuring Inc. as receiver (in such capacities, the "Receiver") without security, of all of the assets, undertakings and properties of Blue Goose Pure Foods Ltd. o/a Tender Choice Foods (the "Debtor") acquired for, or used in relation to a business carried on by the Debtor.

Bankruptcy:

On May 25, 2018, the Court made an Order authorizing the Receiver to assign Blue Goose Pure Foods Ltd. o/a Tender Choice into bankruptcy. The Receiver has done so, and the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy issued a Certificate of Appointment of Deloitte Restructuring Inc. as trustee of BGPFL on June 5, 2018. The First Meeting of Creditors will be held on June 27, 2018 at 11:30 a.m at the office of the Deloitte Restructuring Inc. 8 Adelaide Street West, Suite 200, Toronto, Ontario, M5H 0A9.​
