On July 24, 2017, Deloitte Restructuring Inc. was appointed by the Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan (the “Court”) as Receiver of Vortex Drilling Ltd. (“Vortex”). A copy of the Receivership Order is found below. Vortex was a drilling contractor that provided services to the oil and gas industry in southern Saskatchewan.

Pursuant to the May 18, 2018 Final Distribution and Discharge Order of the Court, Deloitte Restructuring Inc. was discharged as Receiver of Vortex on June 7, 2018.

On November 3, 2017, an application for a bankruptcy order was filed against Vortex Drilling Ltd. by Affinity Credit Union. On November 15, 2017, a bankruptcy order was granted by the Saskatchewan Court of Queen's Bench appointing Deloitte Restructuring Inc. as Trustee in Bankruptcy of the company.  The first meeting of creditors will be held on December 4, 2017 at 11:00am at the Regina Office of Deloitte Restructuring Inc., 2103 11^th Avenue Mezzanine Level Bank of Montreal Bldg, Regina, SK S4P 3Z8.

The Trustee obtained its discharge on October 10, 2018.​
