Introduction and Overview:

This page is for information purposes only and you should consult your professional adviser if you have any questions or are uncertain as to your rights or obligations.

On April 28, 2017, pursuant to sections 207 and 210 of The Corporations Act, Deloitte Restructuring Inc. (“Deloitte”) was appointed by the Court of Queen’s Bench for Manitoba as Liquidator, without security, to liquidate all of the assets, undertakings and property (the “Property”) of Taylor Bros. Farm Ltd. (“TBF”) and Edwin Potato Growers Ltd. (“EPG”). The Liquidation Order was signed and entered on June 5, 2017.

To date, no claims process has been established by the Liquidator for TBF and the creditors of TBF are therefore not required to file a proof of claim at this time.

A claims process has been established for EPG and all known creditors have been sent a claims package by the Liquidator.  Anyone who believes that they have a claim against EPG which arose prior to April 28, 2017 should send a completed Proof of Claim to the Liquidator to be received by 5:00 p.m. (Manitoba Time) on June 25, 2018 (the “Claims Receipt Date”).

Creditors who have not received a Proof of Claim Form can access a Claims Package under the heading 4) Notices to Creditors below or can contact John Fritz, Deloitte Restructuring Inc., (contact information below).

Publicly available documents will be posted to the website as they become available.
