On the 3rd day of October, 2016 MicroPlanet Technology Corp. (the "Company" or "MTC") lodged with Deloitte Restructuring Inc. in its capacity as proposal trustee (the " Proposal Trustee") a proposal pursuant to Part III of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada) (the "BIA").  

On November 21, 2016, the Company's Amended Proposal was filed with the Official Receiver.  Subsequently, the Company's Amended Amended Proposal was filed with the Official Receiver.

On February 9, 2017, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta approved, among other things, the Company’s further amended proposal (the “Amended Amended Amended Proposal”).

The Trustee obtained its discharge on November 9, 2023.
