On January 24, 2012, UTEX CORPORATION filed to the Official Receiver of the District of Quebec a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal to its creditors pursuant to subsection 50.4(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA). Samson Bélair/Deloitte & Touche Inc. has consented to act as Trustee to the Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal. On February 22, 2012, an extension of time to file a proposal was granted until April 6, 2012. On April 4, 2012, a second extension of time to file a proposal was granted until May 18, 2012.On May 17, Utex filed a Proposal to all creditors, a creditors meeting will be held on June 7, 2012 at Ruby Foo's Hotel at 7655 Decarie Boulevard in Montréal.
