​Take notice that on March 8, 2019, JTI-Macdonald Corp. (the "Applicant" or "JTIM") sought and obtained protection pursuant to the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (the "CCAA") before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) (the "Court").

Deloitte Restructuring Inc. has been appointed as monitor in the Applicant's CCAA proceedings (the "Monitor") pursuant to the Initial Order of the Court dated March 8, 2019 (the "Initial Order").

The Initial Order provides, among other things, for a stay of proceedings. The stay has been extended by the Court from time to time and, by Stay Extension Order issued on March 25, 2024, the stay was further extended to September 30, 2024. This Order and accompanying endorsement are posted below.

Please be advised that the motion to extend the stay of proceedings is currently scheduled to be held virtually on October 1, 2024. The protocol for the motion by Zoom video conference will be posted to the website closer to such date.

Please be advised that the YouTube channel for the livestream of the stay extension hearing returnable October 1, 2024, at 9:00 AM Eastern Time (US and Canada) will be able to be found via a YouTube link to follow.
