On May 15, 2023, Deloitte Restructuring Inc, (“Deloitte") was appointed by the Court of King's Bench of Alberta (the “Court") as the receiver and manager (the “Receiver") without security, over the three (3) properties legally described in the table below (collectively the “Mortgaged Property") and the serial number property also described in the table below (collectively the “Serial Number Property"), including all current and future assets, undertakings, and properties of every nature and kind whatsoever and where ever situated of Westmount Projects Inc. (“Westmount") including all proceeds thereof arising therefrom but only to the extent such property is located on the Mortgaged Property or arising out of or in connection with the Serial Number Property.​

On October 25, 2024, Deloitte obtained its discharge as Receiver of Westmount.

2218923 Alberta Ltd. and 1975847 Alberta Ltd.

On May 15, 2023, Deloitte was appointed by the Court as Receiver of all current and future assets, undertakings and properties of every nature and kind whatsoever, and wherever situated, including all proceeds (the “Medicine Hat Property") of 2218923 Alberta Ltd. (“221") and 1975847 Alberta Ltd. (“197") (collectively with Westmount the “Debtors").

Sale Process

Pursuant to a Court order issued on August 4, 2023, the Receiver was authorized to carry out a marketing and sale process (the “Sale Process") for the Mortgaged Property and the Medicine Hat Property.

​Medicine Hat Property

221 and 197, headquartered in Calgary Alberta, are property management companies with commercial property located in Medicine Hat, Alberta that forms part of the receivership Sale Process.

Bankruptcy

On November 3, 2023, a bankruptcy order was made against Westmount Projects Inc. and Deloitte was appointed as Trustee of the Bankruptcy.  

The First Meeting of Creditors was held on November 27, 2023. ​
