On May 15, 2023, Deloitte Restructuring Inc, (“Deloitte") was appointed by the Court of King's Bench of Alberta (the “Court") as the receiver and manager (the “Receiver") without security, over the three (3) properties legally described in the table below (collectively the “Mortgaged Property") and the serial number property also described in the table below (collectively the “Serial Number Property"), including all current and future assets, undertakings, and properties of every nature and kind whatsoever and where ever situated of Westmount Projects Inc. (“Westmount") including all proceeds thereof arising therefrom but only to the extent such property is located on the Mortgaged Property or arising out of or in connection with the Serial Number Property.​

2218923 Alberta Ltd. and 1975847 Alberta Ltd.

On May 15, 2023, Deloitte was appointed by the Court as Receiver of all current and future assets, undertakings and properties of every nature and kind whatsoever, and wherever situated, including all proceeds (the “Medicine Hat Property") of 2218923 Alberta Ltd. (“221") and 1975847 Alberta Ltd. (“197") (collectively with Westmount the “Debtors").

Sale Process

Pursuant to a Court order issued on August 4, 2023, the Receiver has been authorized to carry out a marketing and sale process (the “Sale Process") for the Mortgaged Property and the Medicine Hat Property:

Westmount Mortgaged Property

Westmount, headquartered in Calgary, Alberta is a property management company with three (3) properties located in Calgary that form part of the Sale Process.

Details concerning the Mortgaged Property, sale process and bidding procedures are posted below.  The deadline for submissions of offers is September 11, 2023.

Medicine Hat Property

221 and 197, headquartered in Calgary Alberta, are property management companies with commercial property located in Medicine Hat, Alberta that forms part of the receivership Sale Process.

Details concerning the Medicine Hat Property, sale process and bidding procedures are posted below. The deadline for submission of offers is October 13, 2023.

On November 3, 2023, a bankruptcy order was made against Westmount Projects Inc. and Deloitte was appointed as Trustee of the Bankruptcy.  

The First Meeting of Creditors will be held on November 27, 2023, 10:00 AM at 7th Floor, Room 7-104, 850-2 Street SW, Calgary, AB T2P 0R8. To be entitled to vote at the meeting you must file with us, prior to the meeting, a proof of claim form, and where necessary, a proxy.
